Property, Succession & Family Litigation

Partition and title suits, testamentary and succession matters, and matrimonial proceedings.

Property, succession and matrimonial disputes are more often than not the same dispute. A partition suit, a caveat against probate and a maintenance petition frequently involve one family, one set of assets and one long history.

We act in partition and title suits, declaration and permanent injunction, specific performance, probate and letters of administration, and contested wills, as well as mutation and revenue record corrections. On the matrimonial side we act in divorce, custody, guardianship and maintenance, and in proceedings under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act 2005.

Where the parties will still share a boundary wall or a child's schooling after judgment, we say so early. Settlement is not the softer outcome in these matters. It is frequently the only one that holds.
